What is a Psychic?

psychic

A psychic is someone who has a special ability to tap into universal energy, their own intuition and the energy of those around them. They often use this to deliver intuitive messages that can guide you through difficult times and help you with important decisions in your life.

The Psychic Dictionary

The word psychic comes from the Greek word psi, which refers to “the psychic powers or faculties that appear inexplicable by natural laws, such as telepathy and clairvoyance.” A psychic is also a medium or sensitive person who claims to have these abilities. Psychics can give you advice, share a message from loved ones who have passed on and help you gain clarity about your life direction.

Some psychics do cold readings, where they ask you questions about your background and then try to predict your future based on your answers. However, there are many other ways a psychic can assist you. For example, some psychics will do a more guidance-based reading where they focus on your strengths and offer suggestions for how you can cultivate them to meet your goals and grow emotionally, physically and spiritually.

It’s important to approach a psychic with a healthy dose of skepticism. Even so, some psychics have a reputation for being true, and you may find that a friend or colleague can recommend one who works well with them. But it’s best not to make significant decisions based on what a psychic tells you.
